Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi province, consumed an average of 2.32 million cubic metres per day of gas during China’s seven-day Lunar New Year holiday, according to the municipal authority.

Taiyuan sources gas from the first West-East Pipeline and CBM from local fields in the Qinshui Basin.
