Ukrtransgaz to tender for major pipeline maintenance in Q2

Ukrainian state-owned Ukrtransgaz expects to start tendering for repair work on the Urengoy-Pomary-Uzhgorod gas pipeline – one of Ukraine’s main trunk lines – in Q2 2018, the company announced in a procurement notice.

The work is estimated to cost up to €300 million ($369 million) and will be financed with a loan obtained from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and the European Investment Bank.
