Petronet to launch LNG filling stations on 4,000-km highway

India’s Petronet LNG plans to launch up to 20 LNG filling stations on a 4,000-km stretch of highway, Chief Executive Prabhat Singh has said.

India’s Petronet LNG plans to launch up to 20 LNG filling stations on a 4,000-km stretch of highway from Delhi to Thiruvananthapuram, the Financial Express reported on Friday, citing Petronet Chief Executive Prabhat Singh.

“We plan to start with [a] few thousand buses,” said Singh.

Petronet has also discussed with oil marketing companies about adding LNG facilities to their existing service stations along the route.
