Supplies from Chinese storage hit 90 MMcm/d

The supply rate from China’s 25 underground gas storage depots hit 90 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) on 10 February, state broadcaster CCTV reported on Sunday.

China National Petroleum Corp.’s (CNPC’s) Xiangguosi depot in Chongqing supplied 15 MMcm/d. The depots have a combined designed capacity of 40 billion cubic metres. They had supplied 6.6 bcm to more than 10 regions during the current winter heating season as of 10 February.
