Senegal and Mauritania have finally signed an international cooperation agreement (ICA) that paves the way for development of the Tortue/Ahmeyim gas complex, which straddles their maritime border. However, sources have told Interfax Natural Gas Daily that lingering misalignments between Senegalese and Mauritanian institutions could hinder progress on the project.
