US energy exports will outstrip imports by 2022 – DOE

The United States is on course to export more energy products than it imports by 2022, according to the Department of Energy.

The United States is on course to export more energy products than it imports by 2022, according to the Department of Energy.

The country will expand gas exports beyond its traditional North American markets, increase shipments of crude oil and ensure outward flows of refined products such as gasoline remain robust, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
