LNG Canada has shortlisted two EPC consortiums to build the planned LNG export facility in Kitimat, British Columbia.
The chosen partnerships were between Technip FMC and KBR, and JGC and Fluor.
Negotiations will begin immediately with the aim of selecting the winning consortium sometime this year.
LNG Canada is proposing to build two trains at Kitimat with capacity of 6.5 mtpa each.
