The future of Croatia’s long-delayed FSRU project will be determined by what happens over the next nine-and-a-half weeks. 

Croatia LNG – the joint venture responsible for developing the initial 2.6 billion cubic metre per year phase of the Krk terminal – launched the binding phase of its ‘open season’ capacity tender on 17 January. Traders have until the end of March to book capacity, and the level of interest shown will dictate whether the project progresses to FID.
