Iran has said it is ready to export more gas to Iraq but that unfinished pipeline work on the Iraqi side of the border may stop volumes from flowing.

Iran says it has almost completed construction of the spur from the Iran Gas Trunkline 6 (IGAT-6) pipeline to the Iraqi border, and the Iraqi parliament has ratified an agreement for the supply. However, Iraq will need to finish building the pipeline on its side before gas can flow.
