Brazil’s LNG imports fell by 38% in 2017 compared with 2016, according to the latest customs data from SISCOMEX, a Brazilian agency that records all foreign trade. The share of Brazil’s LNG imports arriving at Pecem, the country’s northeastern terminal, also increased from 33% in 2016 to 59% during the year.
