PetroChina subsidiary produces 11.3 bcm in 2017 from Sichuan mine

The Central Sichuan Oil and Gas Mine, operated by PetroChina’s Southwest Oil & Gas Field subsidiary, produced a record 11.26 billion cubic metres of gas in 2017.

The Central Sichuan Oil and Gas Mine, operated by PetroChina’s Southwest Oil & Gas Field subsidiary, produced a record 11.26 billion cubic metres of gas in 2017.

The Longwangmiao and Dengying reservoirs, part of the Moxi Block in the Anyue gas field, contributed 10.03 bcm – the first time the block has produced more than 10 bcm/y.

Longwangmiao has 45 wells producing an average of 28.2 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) while Dengying has 13 wells producing 3 MMcm/d.
