Ukraine increased its imports of gas from Europe by more than 3.5 billion cubic metres year on year in 2017, preliminary data shows. State-owned Naftogaz Ukrainy purchased around 21 bcm of gas during the first 11 months of last year, around 2 bcm more than during the same period in the previous year, it announced in late December.
