Russia’s Rostec, which has been selected to build Pakistan’s North-South pipeline, has secured financing for the project, according to the Nikkei Asian Review.
Rostec subsidiary RT Global Resources has struggled to secure financing since being targeted by Western sanctions.
Now financing is in place the project is cleared to begin construction. The pipeline will transport LNG imported into Karachi north to Lahore.
