London-listed SOCO International is evaluating a merger with Kuwait Energy, SOCO said in a statement on Monday.
The move would help Kuwait Energy in its ambitions to go public, after it tried and failed to raise $150 million in a listing last year.
"SOCO confirms that, in the context of its stated objective to strategically reshape its business and grow its portfolio, it is evaluating a potential merger of equals with Kuwait Energy," the company said in a statement via the London Stock Exchange....
