Spain’s Reganosa terminal receives first LNG from Yamal

Spanish LNG storage company Reganosa received its first shipment of LNG from Russia’s Yamal LNG plant on Sunday

Spanish LNG storage company Reganosa received its first shipment of LNG from Russia’s Yamal LNG plant on Sunday, the company said in a note.

The cargo was delivered to Spain’s Ferrol terminal. The shipment was first received at the Gate terminal in the Netherlands on an ice-class LNG carrier before being loaded on to a conventional vessel to complete the journey to Spain.

Yamal started operations at the beginning of December, and Ferrol is the first European terminal to receive LNG from the plant.
