Summit awards contract for support vessels at Bangladesh LNG terminal

A subsidiary of Summit Power has awarded a 15-year contract for support vessels to operate at the LNG terminal it is developing in Bangladesh.

A subsidiary of Summit Power has awarded a 15-year contract for support vessels to operate at the LNG terminal it is developing in Bangladesh, according to The Business Times.

The contract was awarded to PSA Marine Bangladesh, part of PSA International. It will provide berthing, mooring, piloting and personnel transfer services to the LNG vessels calling at the terminal.

The value of the contract was not disclosed but is estimated to be in the region of $150 million.
