Spanish LNG storage and distribution company Reganosa has delivered a cargo to the Spanish region of Asturias that will be used to test Europe’s first LNG-powered train, PortSEurope reported on Sunday.

The LNG-powered train will be tested for four months on a reserved 20-km stretch. The pilot is part of a package of EU projects to promote the use of cleaner energy in transport, both on land and at sea.
