Japan’s LNG imports fell by 15% on an annual basis in November, to 6.4 mt – the biggest year-on-year decline in 2017 so far. LNG imports for the year to November were virtually flat year on year. The average price for spot LNG cargoes contracted in November hit $9/MMBtu – their highest level since 2015.
