Greece has delayed the privatisation deadline for its gas transmission operator, DESFA.
The country is offering up to two-thirds of the company to private investors, who now have until February to submit binding offers, Greek newspaper Kathimerini reported on Monday quoting an anonymous source close to the process.
The previous deadline was due to expire on Friday. “The interested parties have sought an extension; it will be granted with the deadline sometime in February. [The precise] date has not yet been set,” the source reportedly said.
