Algerian growth boosts Africa-Europe pipeline volumes

North African pipeline exports to Europe rose by 1.6% in Week 50 from the previous week, to 904.3 million cubic metres (MMcm), as a result of higher Algerian exports. Deliveries to Spain from Algeria via the Maghreb-Europe pipeline rose by 0.4%, to 203.0 MMcm, while Medgaz pipeline volumes ticked up by 0.1%, to 147.6 MMcm. Algerian gas flows to Italy via the Trans-Med pipeline rose by 4.5%, to 482.3 MMcm, while Libyan gas to Italy via GreenStream fell by 9.7%, to 71.4 MMcm.
