Kazakhstan is inviting Malaysian oil and gas companies to operate in the country, according to the New Straits Times.

Mohd Shahreen Madros, chief executive of Malaysia’s external trade development corporation, said that most of Malaysia’s oil and gas companies were qualified to venture overseas and that developing Kazakhstan’s oil and gas sector, which is considered highly prospective, would be an ideal opportunity.
