Russia and Serbia are scrapping a clause from an intergovernmental agreement banning the resale of Russian gas. Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the new text on 14 December.

The ban on re-exports has been deleted in practically all of Gazprom’s export contracts at the request of the European Commission.
