EU energy ministers will discuss a draft regulation on governance of the Energy Union in Brussels next Monday. It could pave the way for stricter monitoring and more ambitious renewables and energy efficiency targets for 2030.  

The draft regulation secured support from MEPs in the European Parliament’s energy and environment committees last week.
