Brazil boosts pipeline volumes by 23% in 2017

The volume of gas in the pipeline network of Brazilian state giant Petrobras increased by around 23% in 2017 compared with 2016.

The volume of gas in the pipeline network of Brazilian state giant Petrobras increased by around 23% in 2017 compared with 2016, Reuters has reported, quoting Rodrigo Costa, the company’s head of gas.

The executive said he expects the volumes shipped in 2017 to be around 54 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d), up from 44 MMcm/d in 2016.
