Italian transmission system operators (TSOs) Snam and Societa’ Gasdotti Italia (SGI) will collaborate on the development of a north-south pipeline in Sardinia, an SGI spokesperson told Interfax Natural Gas Daily on Tuesday, after the companies released a note on the gasification of the island.
SGI first presented a project for a pipeline connecting the port of Cagliari, in the south of Sardinia, to Porto Torres, in the north, as part of its 10-year plan in 2016.
