Philippines plans to award LNG terminal permit in 2018 – Cusi

The Philippines is planning to award a permit in 2018 for building and operating the country’s first LNG terminal.

The Philippines is planning to award a permit in 2018 for building and operating the country’s first LNG terminal, Reuters reported on Tuesday.

Philippine Energy Secretary Alfonso Cusi said dozens of domestic and foreign companies were interested in taking a stake in the project. State-owned Philippine National Oil Co. will hold a 10% share.
