Australian company Arrow Energy has signed a 27-year gas supply deal with the Shell-operated Queensland Curtis LNG project.
The deal will commercialise about 142 billion cubic metres of Arrow’s gas reserves in the Surat Basin, where the company has produced gas for more than a decade.
Queensland’s total gas supply is around 37 bcm/y, of which residential and industrial demand accounts for approximately 5 bcm/y.
