Pakistan’s third LNG terminal is expected online before the end of 2018, Iqbal Ahmed, chairman and chief executive of Pakistan GasPort (PGP), told delegates at the CWC World LNG Summit in Lisbon on Thursday.
The foundation stone for the onshore infrastructure was laid on the same day as the inauguration of PGP’s first LNG terminal in late November, and the project is making good progress, according to Ahmed.
