Gas production in Russia’s Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District increased by 13.8% year on year in January-October 2017, to 458.17 billion cubic metres, the district governor’s press office said.
Oil production rose by 21.7%, to 26.35 mt.
Gas condensate output was down by 2.3%, to 15.7 mt. Gas was produced by 36 companies at 93 fields in the district, while 22 firms were involved in oil production at 66 fields.
