Hungary interested in Nigeria’s LNG

Hungary is looking to import LNG and oil from Nigeria, Hungarian ambassador to Nigeria has said.

Hungary is looking to import LNG and oil from Nigeria, Gabor Ternak, the Hungarian ambassador to Nigeria, said in a courtesy call to Maikanti Baru, group managing director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corp. (NNPC), according to Oil Review Africa.

Ternak said imports of crude oil and LNG are expected "to bridge the current supply gap in Hungary", the newspaper reported on Thursday.

Ternak added that Hungary is planning to diversify its sources of LNG and oil by purchasing them from Nigeria.
