TransCanada is planning to deliver gas from British Columbia’s Montney shale play to LNG export facilities on the United States Gulf Coast, the Calgary-based company said in investor presentations on Tuesday, according to the Financial Post.

TransCanada has already made proposals to Montney gas producers, which are struggling to find outlets for their production because of “transportation bottlenecks and excess supplies that are depressing prices”, the newspaper said.
