Gazprom to produce 12.1% more gas in 2017 year on year

Gazprom expects to increase its gas production to 470 bcm in 2017 – a rise of 12.1% from the 419 bcm it produced in 2016.

Gazprom expects to increase its gas production to 470 billion cubic metres in 2017 – a rise of 12.1% from the 419 bcm it produced in 2016 – Chief Executive Alexei Miller said at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.

If there is no significant rounding, the figures given by Miller indicate Gazprom will reduce gas production somewhat in November or December compared with the same months of 2016. This November has been very warm in Russia, with average temperatures about 5C higher...
