Indian pipeline construction site attacked

The construction site of the Phulpur-Haldia gas pipeline in India’s Gaya district has been attacked by Maoist insurgents.

The construction site of the Phulpur-Haldia gas pipeline in India’s Gaya district has been attacked by Maoist insurgents, according to the Hindustan Times.

The police reported that 12 armed men attacked the site of the Gail-owned pipeline project at the village of Mahuawan. The attackers threatened the contractors of the construction firm with additional violence if they did not stop work on the pipeline.
