China imported 3.57 mt of LNG in October, up by 95.7% year on year and the second highest monthly amount on record after 3.73 mt in December 2016, according to data from the General Administration of Customs.
Australia remained the biggest supplier to China for the 19th consecutive month, delivering 1.52 mt.
Pipeline imports reached 2.24 mt, their lowest level since November 2016, and Turkmenistan supplied 1.71 mt, the lowest in 2017 so far.
