Anadarko and its partners in Offshore Area 1 have decided to move forward with the resettlement of around 2,500 people from the site of the proposed LNG plant in northern Mozambique.
The companies are proceeding without their project partners, the Offshore Area 4 consortium, which failed to sign the resettlement contract before the deadline.
