The plan of development (POD) for Anadarko’s 12 mtpa LNG plant was reviewed by Mozambique’s Economic Council on Thursday morning in preparation for submission to the Council of Ministers (COM) next Tuesday. 

The approval of the POD would be a major step forward for the $20 billion project in Offshore Area 1, but Wildcat understands it may only move forward on conditions the partners had previously been unwilling to commit to.
