Mozambique’s Ministry for Mineral Resources and Energy will choose a consultant in December to help decide on a price for domestic gas and provide advice on developing the country’s downstream sector.

Mozambique’s downstream projects include a 38,000 barrel per day GTL plant, a 1.2-1.3 mtpa fertiliser plant and a 250 MW power station that were selected in Mozambique's first domestic gas tender in January 2017.
