Hindustan Oil Exploration Co. (HOEC) announced its first commercial gas sales from the Dirok field in the Indian states of Assam on Wednesday, according to India Today.
The company shares the field with Oil India Ltd. and India Oil Corp., with output amounting to just over 1.02 million cubic metres of gas and 1,000 barrels of condensate per day. HOEC plans to ramp production from the field up to capacity in six months.
