Ophir delays FID on Fortuna FLNG

Ophir Energy has delayed taking FID on the Fortuna FLNG project in Equatorial Guinea until 2018.

Ophir Energy has delayed taking FID on the Fortuna FLNG project in Equatorial Guinea until 2018, the company said in a statement.

Ophir had intended to reach FID by the end of 2017. It has now agreed a 12-month extension to the Block R licence, where the project is situated, to the end of December 2018.
