Canadian oil and gas drilling contractors are continuing to struggle in a competitive market even though drilling is forecast to increase in 2018, an industry association has said.

The Canadian Association of Oilwell Drilling Contractors (CAODC) estimated in a release on Tuesday that 6,138 wells will be drilled in 2018 compared with 6,031 in 2017.
