Keshen field supplying 18 MMcm/d to West-East Pipeline

China’s Keshen gas field is now supplying 18 million cubic metres per day to the first West-East Pipeline.

China’s Keshen gas field, which is operated by PetroChina’s Tarim Oilfield unit, is supplying 18 million cubic metres per day (MMcm/d) to the first West-East Pipeline, enough to meet demand for 20 million households.

Three new wells will be launched soon, raising Keshen’s supply to 19.5 MMcm/d.
