Baoji in Shaanxi province facing major gas shortage

The city of Baoji in China’s Shaanxi province is facing a gas supply shortfall of 750,000 cubic metres per day.

The city of Baoji in China’s Shaanxi province is facing a gas supply shortfall of 750,000 cubic metres per day now the heating season has started, local media have reported.

The city needs 1.5 million cubic metres per day, but its supply can meet only half of that.

Baoji’s local gas distribution company has started rationing the fuel for residential use, affecting supply for taxis and buses running on gas.
