Companies in Egypt will not be allowed to import gas from Israel until arbitration cases between the two countries have been resolved, Egypt’s energy minister told reporters on the sidelines of the Abu Dhabi Petroleum Exhibition & Conference on Monday.

Gas exports from Egypt to Israel were halted in 2012 after the pipeline was attacked.

Egypt was ordered to pay Israel compensation, which Egypt is disputing through arbitration.
