PV Gas signs MOUs for US LNG supply

PetroVietnam Gas has signed memorandums of understanding with two United States-based players concerning LNG imports.

PetroVietnam Gas (PV Gas), Vietnam’s largest gas company, signed memorandums of understanding (MOUs) with two United States-based players concerning LNG imports over the weekend, according to Platts.

The first was with Virginia-based AES Group for the construction of the proposed Son My LNG terminal. The terminal project will included a 2.25 GW gas-fired power plant that will be capable of supplying around 5% of Vietnam’s power.
