Brazil’s National Energy Policy Council has announced that the country’s 15th bid round for exploration blocks under a concession regime will be held in March 2018.

Brazil’s National Energy Policy Council has announced that the country’s 15th bid round for exploration blocks under a concession regime will be held in March 2018, and that the fourth bid round offering production-sharing contracts will be held in June 2018.

The fourth round will offer the Três Marias, Dois Irmãos, Uirapuru, Saturno and Itaimbezinho offshore blocks, all of which are located in the Campos and Santos basins in the country’s pre-salt region.
