Oman’s Khazzan field officially inaugurated

The first phase of Oman’s giant Khazzan gas field was officially inaugurated on Thursday after gas production started in September.

The first phase of Oman’s giant Khazzan gas field was officially inaugurated on Thursday after gas production started in September.

Phase One of the Khazzan development will include a total of 200 wells feeding into a two-train central processing facility.

Total production is expected rise to 42.5 million cubic metres per year when the second phase at Khazzan – also known as Ghazeer – is fully onstream.
