Saudi Aramco has signed agreements with companies to carry out work on the Haradh and Hawiyah gas projects.
Three of the eight agreements signed were with Spain’s Técnicas Reunidas. Haradh and Hawiyah are expected to add 28 million cubic metres per day to Aramco’s gas output. The agreements are valued at nearly $4.5 billion in total.
Saipem has been awarded the contract for an expansion project at the Hawiyah Gas Plant that will provide additional gas processing facilities to process raw sweet gas.
