The Ichthys LNG project in Australia is set to start production in March 2018, a senior executive at project leader Inpex has told Reuters.
Ichthys will take around two years to reach its nameplate capacity production.
The central processing facility and FPSO are in place and undergoing tests.
The onshore liquefaction plant is also undergoing tests, and Inpex hopes to start production of condensate, LNG and LPG by the end of March 2018, with shipments to follow soon after.
