Gas Natural Fenosa saw a double-digit fall in profits over the first nine months of the year because of weakness in its liberalised power and gas businesses and the deconsolidation of Colombian distributor Electricaribe, the Spanish giant has said.

Pre-tax profits fell by 12.3% during the period on a like-for-like basis, to €3.14 billion ($3.63 billion).
