Central Asia-China pipeline network passes transport milestone

The Central Asia-China pipeline network has transported a total of 200 bcm to date, equivalent to 11 years of gas supply for Beijing.

The Central Asia-China pipeline network has transported a total of 200 billion cubic metres to date, equivalent to 11 years of gas supply for Beijing, according to China Daily.

The network comprises three cross-border trunk lines with a combined capacity of 55 bcm/y.

They run from Turkmenistan and cross Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan before terminating in Khorgas in western China.
